…As Favour Ministry Celebrates
Christians have been admonished to always develop the habit of returning thanks to God in order to attract more favours from Him.
This was the sermon delivered by Apostle Bariledum Goodluck during the eleventh year anniversary thanksgiving celebration of the Excellent Peoples Favour Ministries Int’l, (aka the Land of Answers) located at Okey Wali Street Estate, Rumualogu by Uniport Road in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State.
Quoting from the bible, the man of God explained that the expression of gratitude even to fellow men enables one to get more.
He added that thanksgiving is equally an expression of complete dependence on God.
In a chat with newsmen, the General Overseer of the Church, Prophetess (Mrs) Chinyere Sunday disclosed that the church has had its own fair share of challenges since inception, ranging from physical to spiritual challenges from fellow humans and forces of darkness. But that God has been on their side and helped them surmount them all to His glory.
The G.O equally used the opportunity to real out some of the modest achievements they have recorded to include the relocation of the church to its permanent site from a one room apartment at Ozuoba Community.
“Above all, she noted, there is no problem that is brought to us here which has not gotten solution; ranging from child-bearing related challenges to demonic attacks”, she said.
She made it known that indeed God has been using the Ministry to solve all humanity challenges as there is nothing impossible with God.
Highlights of the event were the cutting of the anniversary cake designed like a bible, intercessory prayers for the members, the church growth, the state and country at large, as well as the ordination, anointing and dedication of some committed members of the church to higher ranks which include Prince Ibifuro Daniel as a pastor; Madam Joy Everest as “Ezinne” (good mother), Bro Lucky Opara and Bro Philip Akpofure as Deacons of the church.
