The 2018 Bible Society of Nigeria Life Members Conference of the Rivers/Bayelsa Area would take place at the St. Paul African Church, IB Johnson Street, Port Harcourt on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
According to a statement issued in Port Harcourt, jointly signed by the Area Chairman, Venerable Rufus Etire JP and Chairman of the Life Members Planning Committee, Elder Omoni Ayo-Tamuno, the Conference would featured Fund Raising for Bible House.
The release stated that the occasion would by Chaired by the Acting State Director of the National Orientation Agency, (NOA), Barrister Young Ayotamuno, while the Special Guests of Honour is the General Manger of the Niger Delta Development Authority, Engineer Tonye West.
The Guest Speaker at the Conference is the Archbishop Rivers Province/The Diocesan, The African Church and Chairman of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), Rivers State, the Most Revd Dr Dokiboeriya Bray Kaladokubo JP and that all Church Heads within the State would serve as Spiritual Fathers of the Day.
It pointed out that the Amanyanabo of Abonnema, King (Barr.) Disreal Gbobo Bob-Manuel, Ekineye Gbobo II, Owukori IX and the Amanyanabo of Kala-Ogoloma, Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt, King Goddy Idaminabo Idikisime-Olunwa JP are the Royal Fathers of the Day.
The release said that the occasion would also feature review of the activities of the Area in the last one year.
The Life Members Conference which begins by 11 AM, would by attended by Members drawn from Rivers and Bayelsa States.
