Ele Monarch Hails Gov Wike On 100 Days In Office

….Felicitates With Wakirike Traditional Rulers Over Certificates, Staff Of Office

The Amanyanabo of ancient Ele kingdom, Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, H RH, King Tamunoseipiriala Okuru, Apina VII has hailed Gov Nyesom Wike on the celebration of his 100-days in office which also featured presentation of certificates of recognition and staff of office to six illustrious Traditional Rulers of Wakirike ethnic nation and others in the State, describing it as a landmark celebration.

King Okuru in a statement on behalf of the Ele Divisional Council of Chiefs and the entire people of Ele kingdom said Governor Wike has proved beyond reasonable doubts that he has the interest of the State at heart as he also commissioned some projects as part of the celebration, adding that he has truly shown that he is “Mr. Projects” of Nigeria and David of our time.

According to the Ele Monarch, the Governor has transformed Rivers State in all ramifications and provided basic infrastructure and superlative security structure called “Operation Sting” among others that have direct bearing on the people of the State, and prayed God to further give him the courage, wisdom, protection and zeal to further take Rivers State to an enviable height in the comity of State in Nigeria.

He appealed to the people of the State to put all hands on deck so that his dream for a New Rivers Vision could be achieved, and pledged their loyalty and unalloyed support to the administration in order to enable him embark on more projects in his second tenure in office.

King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru,  also congratulated the Amanyanabo of Okrila, His Gracious Majesty, King Alfred Semenitari Abam Ado IX, the Amanyanabo of Ogoloma Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, King Emmanuel T.I. Obudibo Ikwo V, the Amanyanabo of Ogu Kingdom, His Majesty, King Nicholas Dickson Ibiebele Nimenibo Loko IX, the Amanyanabo of Bolo Se, His Royal Highness King Acheseinimie Micah Frank Bolo-Luka VIII, Amanyanabo of Okochiri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty King Ateke Michael Tom, Sekuro of Niger Delta, the Amanyanabo of Kirike, His Majesty, King Tamuno-Omisiki Ogube I for their well-deserved presentation of Certificate and Staff of office.

According to him, the presentation of Staff of Office is a symbol of authority that would further spur them to carry out their functions as custodians of the culture and tradition of the people as well as ensure peaceful co-existence and security in their domain.

“As Governor Wike accorded the Traditional Rulers that rightful place and respect in the State, I enjoin them to reciprocate by ensuring peace, unity and love in all their activities,” he opined, and also advised the Traditional Rulers from Wakirike ethnic nationality to use their positions to promote brotherly love and think of developing their areas praying God to guide them, give them wisdom and spirit of love.
