Christians Admonished To Sow Good Seeds For Harvest
Christians have been called upon to ensure that they sow good seeds at all times with the expectation that there will be harvest period.
Evang. Christian Nwachukwu, a guest preacher from the Apostolic Christian Church, Umuocham Aba in Abia State stated this in a sermon during the 2019 Annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service of the Divine Mercy Ministry Int’l Church, Okohia Asa, Ipu South Autonomous Community, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.
He said in the sermon whose theme was “In Time Like This”, that there is season for everything on earth and that whatever one sows is what he/she must reap.
The man of God emphasized the need for Christians to actually sow their seeds in the vineyard of God for obvious benefits.
Evg. Nwachukwu stressed the importance of Traditional Rulers to embrace God in all they do in course of leading their subjects, urging the monarchs to emulate His Majesty, Eze Godwin C. Ukanna of Ipu South Autonomous Community who built and donated a cathedral to God, for His worship.
In her own reaction, the General Overseer of the church, Prophetess Peace Chikezie confessed that this year’s annual harvest was wonderful and surpassed that of previous years as a result of the dignitaries in attendance and the volume of the members’ farm produce presented.
She confirmed that God has indeed been using her to perform miracles in the Ministry and used the opportunity to advise that people should seek God’s face while He is to be found.
A strong member of the Ministry, Elder Chief Nwankwo Enyeribe Odinakachi was particularly grateful to God for the establishment of the church and the success recorded in this year’s harvest.
According to him, “since I started attending this church, I have seen plenty marvelous works of God in my life. The woman of God is God sent to deliver His people who are in bondage.
Elder Nwankwo also expressed his gratitude to his Majesty Eze, Bishop Ukanna for adhering to God’s directive to establish a church for Him.
On his part, HRM Eze G.C. Ukanua said the building of the church was a covenant between him and his God.
“God said I should do this and see what He will do for me in return and I tell you God has been faithful to me and my family since 2014 I obeyed this call”, he declared.
The monarch used the opportunity to call on his colleagues to try the living God for a change.
He prophesied that the church will in time to come be a Mecca of sort to Christians from all over the globe, going by the miracles God is using the Prophetess to do.
He equally used the chance to advice his members to be steadfast and committed in the things of God, as according to him “God’s faithfulness is forever and sure”.
