A kidnap suspect, Prince Odi, has disclosed that Pastor Friday Oladaka of God is God ministry who was kidnapped on the 14th of May, 2021 was killed shortly after he prayed for him.
The suspect said the Pastor held his two hands while praying for him.
Prince Odi disclosed that a member of the gang insisted that the Pastor should be killed because the clergy man recognized him.
Giving insight on how the Pastor was kidnapped, the kidnap suspect said they hired the Pastor on a ‘drop’ to carry goods for them at lorre community in Khana and on getting to the area, the Pastor was kidnapped.
The suspect further explained that the gang sold the Pastor’s sienna vehicle to somebody who had earlier told them he is in need of a sienna vehicle.
In the meantime, the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, CP Eboka Friday who briefed newsmen at the scene of the shallow grave where the remains of the Pastor was exhumed disclosed that Mr Olakada who was kidnapped on May 14,2021, was killed by the suspects ten days after his family paid 500,000 naira ransom to his abductors.
CP Eboka explained that following technical intelligence the Police was able to arrest the four suspects who brought the Police to where they buried their victim.
The immediate younger brother to the victim Mr Woko Olakada commended the Police for their efforts while adding that justice should be served in the matter.
