As Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the south south National vice President of RATTAWU Comrade Christian saro Ganale has felicitated with all RATTAWU members in the south south zone and the management of RATTAWU establishments across the zone.
In his Easter message, the south south National vice President of RATTAWU Comrade Christian saro Ganale called on RATTAWU members in the zone to use the period to pray for the restoration of peace and security in crisis ridden states and communities in the zone.
Comrade Christian Saro Ganale said RATTAWU MEMBERS have cause to rejoice for the fact that the 2019 Easter celebration coincides with the endorsement of a new minimum wage for Nigeria workers.
He said the coincidence shows the blessings that surround the new salary regime that is coming out after series of agitations, negotiations and confrontations with the powers that be.
The south south Zonal vice president also called on members of the Union to emulate the sterling qualities of Jesus Christ who sacrificed his life for the redemption of mankind.
He said as Christians we should commit the problems facing the media and cultural industries to God who has the final say , noting that the industry remains the mouthpiece of the government at any level.
He also used the forum to sympathize with members of the Union who were victimised by the military in the last general elections and expressed his Deep condolences to the families of Nigerians that lost their lives during the elections.
