Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Saturday attended the funeral service of Late Lady Felicia Osimini-Beke at the Anglican Church, Elibrada in Emohua Local Government Area.
The governor was accompanied by Former Rivers State Governor, Sir Celestine Omehia, Senator Bennett Birabi and Former Attorney General of Rivers State, Hon Frank Ohwor.
Commissioners, Special Advisers and State Lawmakers also attended the funeral service of Late Lady Felicia Osimini-Beke, mother of Former Commissioner in Rivers State Government, Mr Charles Beke.
The funeral service was witnessed by a large gathering of politicians from all the political divides of Rivers State, as another son of the Late Matriarch, Mr Emeka Beke, was a former Secretary of APC in Rivers State.
Minister of Transportation, Mr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi led other leaders of the APC to witness the funeral service.
Also on Saturday, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike participated in the funeral service of Late Mrs Grace Morgan Ikiriko Nee Anabraba at Saint Paul’s Nyemoni, Abonnema.
Brother of Late Mrs Morgan, Chief Ferdinand Alabrabra said his sister lived a worthy life, positively impacting the lives of people in her immediate community.
He thanked the Rivers State Governor for providing quality leadership for all parts of the state. He said that the Rivers State Governor will be re-elected to consolidate on his achievements.
In his sermon, Most Rev Nimi John Fyneface said God blessed Late Mrs Morgan with long life because of her service to God and humanity.
