My Victory Is Sure, Chief Horsefal Boasts

The House of Reps hopeful for Asari/Toru/Akuku-Toru Federal Constituency for the 2019 general election, Chief Donand Horsefal says he will shock all his opponents by coming tops after the election.

Chief Horsefal who is contesting the coveted position on the platform of the Accord Party made the boast while chatting with newsmen in Buguma recently.

The Kalabari born politician, and lawyer by profession said like the Biblical David, he would go all out to beat all his opponents not minding the size of their political parties.

Driven by the urge to improve the lots of his people, Chief Horsefal said his main agenda is to provide for the education needs of his people to make them more employable at all levels.

Besides helping to return the ebbing moral values of the people, education will also help to reduce the number of the youths in the creeks, the House of Reps hopeful argued, stressing that it is most unlikely to find well educated persons in the creeks or being used as thugs when there are better opportunities open to them.

According to him, education includes both formal and informal learning to equip the people with relevant skills that may be required by investors and employers of labour at different levels.

Chief Horsefal regretted that the previous representatives of the people have not given education the needed attention as number one catalyst of development.

Another area of concern to the federal lawmaker aspirant is the need to compel companies operating in their communities to site their headquarters in their operational areas.

Chief Horsefal expressed dissatisfaction with the way and manner this is being politicized and hoped to see that the right thing is done if given the mandate.

Earlier, while presenting Chief Donald Horsefal to the people, the Accord Party chairman in ASALGA, George Tammy appealed to the people to see beyond their nose and cast their votes for Chief Horsefal as the candidate with the right mind and pedigree to give them quality representation.

“It is all about the quality of candidates and not popularity of party”, Chief Tammy declared.
