Determined to advance the frontiers of the development of Omoku community, the maiden 2019 Omoku Summit holds on Thursday at Omoku, headquarters of Ogba/Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government Area.
The event themed: Omoku Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow which kicks off at the Omoku Civic Centre at 10am under the distinguished chairmanship of the Honorable Justice Ben Ugbari, is expected to come up with a comprehensive developmental road map intended to move the community forward and galvanize its people to greater heights.
The Omoku Peoples Forum, organisers of the event, in a statement jointly signed by its President, Barrister Emeka Ichoku, Director, Media and Public Relations, Deacon Emma Nwabrije and Chairman, Planning Committee, Dr Izidor Nwokocha, listed renowned university teacher, Professor Okechukwu Ellah and a former Special Adviser to Rivers State Governor, Dr Shadrach Akolokwu as guest speakers.
The Royal Father of the day, the Forum further stated, is the Oba, Eze Ogba of Ogbaland, Sir Dr Chukumela Nnam Obi II.
Eminent personalities expected at the occasion include the Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro Felix Obuah, Federal legislator, Hon Uchechuku Nnam Obi and other public officials.
