Sea School Isaka Alumni Foundation  Holds International Convention In Port Harcourt

The Sea School Isaka Alumni Foundation has announced that it would hold her 2nd  International convention on the 2nd and 3rd of December, 2022, being next Friday and Saturday respectively.

Speaking at a press conference in Port Harcourt on Monday, the Chairman of the event Planning Committee, Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Nwabrije told journalists that the event would hold at the facility of Charkins Maritime Academy in Port Harcourt.

He revealed that Sea School Isaka, a leading legacy school in Rivers State, was established by the quintessential first Military Governor of Rivers State,  Navy Commander Alfred P. Diete-Spiff, now His Royal Majesty, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, Amayanabo of Twon Brass, in present day Bayelsa State.

“Gentlemen of the fourth estate of the realm, it will interest you to know that Sea School Isaka was established in 1971, and its products are well grounded both in academics, sports, as well as qualified seamen. The graduates of this great citadel of learning are excelling in their various professions, including Corporate management, Journalism, Legal, Engineering, Medical, Architecture, Sports, Banking, Insurance, captains of major international shipping lines and other industries”, he stated.

 

Nwabrije, a former governorship candidate of the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) in Rivers State said the dynamic and best infrastructure Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, CON, GSSRS, POS (Africa) is expected as Special guest of honour while HRM, King Alfred P. Diete-Spiff, Amayanabo of Twon Brass and His Eminence, Barr. Dr. Nwachuku Nnam Obuoha-Obi lll, Oba (Eze Ogba) of Ogbaland, would be Royal Fathers of the day.

Nwabrije disclosed that some personalities expected to grace the august event include the CEO of Charkins Maritime Academy, Sir. Dr. Charles Wami and the host, Dean of Legal Department, University of Port Harcourt, Prof Ibiba Paul Worika.

The Chairman of the planning committee, Hon. Dr Emmanuel Nwabrije appealed to all old boys of Government Sea School, Isaka, both far and near to identify and be part of the event.
