The President of Rumuodara Youth Progressive Forum (RYPF), Comrade Wopara Jephthah C. says his administration has brought peace back to Rumuodara Community.
Comrade Jephthah who disclosed this in a chat with National Network said when his administration came on board in April this year, he constituted a vigilante group and advised them to stamp out cultism and other forms of criminality which was ravaging the community.
“In short, I charged them to restore peace in my community Rumuodara’, the Youth President said.
The vigilante he said went into action, and the result was the total peace the community was now enjoying.
“I am so happy because of this singular achievement,” Comrade Wopara said.
The Rumuodara Youth Executive which was inaugurated in April this year, he said had been working round the clock to make sure that peace is returned in Rumuodara, saying having achieved that, his administration would now focus on engaging the youths in profitable ventures. To be able to do this, he is calling on wealthy citizens in Rumuodara and corporate bodies to contribute financially in developing the youths, even as he thanked the companies profusely for their contributions so far.
“I am working on a proposal to present to the companies for the empowerment of our youths,” he told National Network.
Meanwhile, the Rumuodara Youth President has concluded arrangements to host a carnival to entertain the indigenes and non-indigenes of the community.
According to the programme of event made available to National Network, the carnival will come up on Friday, December 23 at Rumuodara Town Hall. The programme indicated that musicians, comedians will be there to entertain the people.
