Hoodlums numbering over 25 in number invaded a NNPC filling station in Ihuike community, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, last week Friday and carted away money and property worth millions of naira we have learnt.
Edwin Lawyer, Manager of the filling station told Journalists that the armed robbers tied up the security personnel on duty before using cutters to cut the burglary proof.
He said two generators, money and other property were carted away by the hoodlums.
SP Grace Iringe Koko Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command confirmed the incident.
SP Koko added that the DPO of the area is investigating the matter.
