Hon Amadi who is also the Community Development Committee (CDC) chairman of Igwuruta used the opportunity to advice the governor to consider completing the internal roads in Igwuruta Community, Ikwerre LGA which his predecessor could not complete because of time factor since government is continuum.

According to him, “government should give priority attention to the opening of internal roads like the DFFRI road from Igwuruta –IPO-Omademe-Ozuaha for instance to help in the evacuation of farm produce”.

He maintained that it is equally important that Governor Fubara administration concentrate effort on the rehabilitation of dilapidated schools in the State especially that of the Igwuruta secondary school which includes fencing the property to ward off criminals activities in the area.

“Education should be given priority attention by awarding Bursary and other forms of funding for the educational institutions in the interest of our children who are the leaders of tomorrow”, he said.

Hon Amadi also appealed to the Fubara administration to equally ensure that all the moribund industries in the State are revitalized to boost the economy, employ the teeming unemployed youths and as well encourage investors who have left the State to return.

The CLO who got an award of excellence for his contributions to the society from a reputable organization said the award excites him and will spur him to double his efforts in reaching out to the less privileged having realized that nothing goes unnoticed in the society.

In response to a question, Hon Amadi said he is confident that Governor Fubara will surpass the expectation of Rivers people and residents the way he has started.

He particularly, appreciated the set of Commissioners the governor has appointed and appealed to them to work as a team, adding that there is nothing wrong in retaining a winning team.

Hon Amadi was particularly happy for the appointment of Hon Kenneth Chisom Gbali as the Commissioners for Youth Development whom he noted will deliver on his mandate, describing him as a grassroot politician who has been tested and trusted.
