As the coronavirus pandemic ravages most parts of the advanced world, the Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has stepped in against the spread of the disease in Rivers State with a donation of a life support ambulance to the state government.
This is in addition to prayers and regular supplication to God to intervene and save mankind from the satanic invasion.
Handing over the multi-million life support ambulance to the Rivers State Commissioner of Health, the OPM General Overseer, Apostle (Dr.) Chibuzor Gift Chinyere said at a time like this, all hands must be on deck to assist the government to fight the common enemy COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
The man of God said the life support ambulance is donated to the Rivers State government for keeps and as part of the Church commitment towards assisting the masses in times of need as is presently the case.
Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere said as is characteristic of OPM, he will not shy away from the responsibility to support the government in whatever measures within his reach to fight the pandemic which according to him was contrived from the pity of hell to annihilate mankind.
Receiving the life support ambulance on behalf of the Rivers State government, the Commissioner of health, Prof Princewill Chike thanked the man of God for the donation, describing the kind gesture as rare.
The health commissioner said the OPM’s spirited efforts to help society should serve as an eye opener to similar groups and corporate organizations operating in the state to emulate their worthy example especially in the fight against covid-19.
Recall that OPM also runs a free Specialist Hospital in Rivers State as all the expenses and philanthropic gestures including the donation were made from the tithes and offerings by members of the OPM Church.
