Oil Rivers Lingo Cultural Centre, Dumo Lulu-Briggs’ Foundation Present Certificates To Students
The students of the Oil River Lingo Cultural Centre, an institution that partners with Dumo Lulu-Briggs Foundation Monday, September 9, smiled home with certificates of merit after a successful completion of their programme.
At the certificate presentation ceremony at the school centre in Port Harcourt, Chief Barr. Dumo Lulu-Briggs while presenting the certificates to the students expressed satisfaction with their performance.
Adding colour to the event, the students communicated in different Rivers languages. Some of the languages they communicated in, include Ikwerre, Kalabari, Ogoni and Ekpeye, being the languages they were taught in the school.
The proprietress of the school, Da-Oju Pearl Isreal Dagogo-Jack, declared in her speech that the aim of establishing the school is to ensure that our mother tongue is kept alive.
She thanked all the invites and parents including Chief (Barr) Dumo Lulu-Briggs for attending the ceremony inspite of their busy schedules.
