Dr Akagbue Coronated As Eze Oha Etche
The paramount ruler of Etche Kingdom, His eminence Ochie E. N. B. Opurum JP, Onye-Shi Etche/Ochie 1 of Etched land on Saturday 18th, 2021 coronated four illustrious sons of Etche who has distinguished themselves in their respective fields of endeavours.
One of those coronated and installed was Eze Dr. Godson Ugochukwu Akagbue as Eze Oha 1 of Etche ethnic nationality, a certificate of recognition was also awarded to him by the Etche Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs
While speaking immediately after the event Eze Dr Akagbue thanked the Onye-shi Etche for finding him worthy to be installed as Eze Oha 1, a highly ranked chieftaincy title in Etche land, adding that he didn’t lobby for the title but God made it possible.
According to him, “for one to be given such title by His Eminence in Etche land, means that his works in the community is appreciated.
“Therefore I feel elated and thank all those who had made it possible.”
He equally said that his little contributions to his community as a philanthropist also contributed to the honour bestowed on him, adding that he has used his medical profession to help the indigent ones and other possible ways deemed necessary.
Meanwhile, Eze Akagbue, therefore promised to live up to expectation by engaging in activities that will project his community and the Etche ethnic nationality to greater heights.
At this juncture, the Eze Oha called on the youths to often engage in meaningful activities that promotes peace and development in order to be honoured, stressing also that they should refrain from vices capable of destroying them.
“Nobody becomes great by being violent, but through hard work and perseverance greatness can be achieved.
There is no short cut to success. The quest for wealth without hard work has degenerated our society to what it is today,” Eze Akagbue said.
