The General Overseer of Abundant Life Evangel Mission (ALEM), Apostle Eugene Egwuatu Ogu says the reason God keeps him alive is for a purpose.
He disclosed this during the “Victory Celebration” service organized to celebrate his 61st birthday.
The man of God further explained that he was able to survive the terrible and terrific experiences he had last year because of God’s purpose upon him.
The epitome of God’s grace recalled how he saved so many widows and orphans from the Dogonawha ,massacre in Pleatue state adding that no amount of sponsored blackmail will stop him from doing the work of God that called him.
Promising to ensure that the devil’s head is crushed, Apostle Ogu informed that his response to the Jos crisis as a result of the herdsmen invasion that left over 354 persons dead where he built the Arm of Hope Grammar School, a free school in Dogo Nahauwa to rehabilitate the displaced children in the community as a result of the death of their parents is one of the responsibilities God would not allow to suffer set-back.
Chronicling his responsibilities which he described as part of his mandate, he maintained that God kept him because his vision and mission on earth must be fulfilled.
Calling for assistance from good spirited individuals, the President of Arm of Hope International stated that with scholarships to over 4,000 indigent students at both primary and tertiary levels, donation of over 50 borehole water to several communities, yearly free JAMB registration to indigent students, free medicals through assistance running into hundreds of millions of naira to members and strangers alike, he will not do all alone.
