Newly Promoted ASPs Warned Against Abuse Of Ranks
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police CP Nwonyi Emeka has adviced newly promoted Assistant Superintendent of Police(ASPs) to abstain from corruption.
CP Emeka gave the warning while decorating the ASPs who were promoted from Inspector rank last week Thursday.
CP Emeka stated that corruption is inimical to the image of the Nigeria Police Force and the acting Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun has zero tolerance for corruption and any form of misconduct.
The Rivers Police Boss also adviced the newly promoted officers to be professional in their discharge of their duty and in dealings with the public. He urged them not to indulge themselves in civil matter.
CP Emeka t thanked the acting Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetekun and Chairman of Police Service Commission(PSC) IGP(retired) Solomon Arase recommendation and subsequent approval after recommendation.
CP Emeka also thanked members of his management team for their cooperation .
ASP Jacob Chidiebere who gave vote of thanks on behalf of other promotees, thanked the IGP, Chairman Police service Commission and Commissioner of Police for finding them worthy of the promotion.
