In a recent chat with National Network, Feelamboy, who was born Lucky Victor Hanson, explained that the semblance of his songs to that of Burna Boy was not an intentional act but mere coincidence.

“I love and admire him (Burna Boy) and I’m very proud of his exploits.  But I sing my songs my own way.  I don’t imitate anybody.  I am inspired to sing the way I do.  That’s the way God leads me to sing.  It’s a good coincidence that I sing like Burna Boy and I am happy we sing the same genre of music”, said the Port Harcourt-born songwriter, producer and entertainer whose parents hail from oil-rich Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

Born October 16, 1990, Feelamboy said he drew inspiration from musical greats like Sean Paul, Buju Banton, 50 Cent and lately Tuface Idibia and Burna Boy.  He adds that his aspiration is “To see myself as a global figure whose songs would be aired internationally and make positive impact in the lives of people, society, community, country and the world at large”.  But, how did it all begin?

“I started singing in church, in the children choir at Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt. After a while I joined a chorography crew called ‘Big Brothers’ in the year 2000. I later joined a singing duo called ‘D Lite Boys’ and was there from 2003 to 2006.

“I left the crew in 2007 and went solo. I did a lot of singles and performed in lots of shows with the likes of Star Quest in Port Harcourt featuring prominently at the annual Port Harcourt Carnival, streets carnivals andchurch shows”.
