Suspected Armed Robbers Stab Man To Death In PH
A yet to be identified Man was stabbed to death last Tuesday night by suspected armed robbers at Trans Amadi Slaughter bridge along the Trans-Woji road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, we have learnt.
An eyewitness told our reporter that the hoodlums accosted the man who was wearing red shirt with black trouser to rob him but he allegedly resisted and was dragging with them in the process when he was stabbed several places on his head by the criminals who fled the scene .
Our source disclosed that some of the persons who witnessed the incident rushed to the bridge at Trans-Woji road to call the Police men stationed there but the officers allegedly told them (eyewitness) that the area is the jurisdiction of Woji Police Division and not theirs.
The eyewitness explained that the victim was abandoned at the scene as the Police allegedly refused following the persons who went to call them .
As at Wednesday morning the victim was dead and his lifeless body was still at the scene.
