14 suspected Internet fraudsters were arrested last week Friday by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Command, during a sting operation at Rumuekini axis of Port Harcourt, we gathered.
The spokesperson for the EFCC Zonal Command, Port Harcourt, Mr Wilson Uwujaren who confirmed the incident, gave names of the suspects as Okoro Ansalem, Gift Mylius, John Lucky, Sadiq Shaibu, Sadiq Fahid, Benjamin Nnaji, Bestman Daniel, Golden Emmanuel, Dike Collins, David Nnaji, Oscar Mathew, Ofe Goodness Okoro Gift and Isaac Abraham Jombo.
Mr Uwujaren said they were arrested along with three cars, Laptops, mobile and electronic devices.
He added that they will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
