High Chief Isuka Crowned Traditional Prime Minister Of Oha Okoro

High Chief Ebenezer IsukaWoko, a native of Rumuagholu Community has been crowned as Traditional Prime Minister of Oha Okoro in Oro Esara Kingdom.

He was installed on Saturday 28th October, 2023 after a rigourous traditional rites performed at the Oro Esara Ancestral Hall in Iriebe by the Chief Priest of Oro Esara Kingdom, Ojiowhor Okechukwu Worenwu.

The traditional rites was effectively directed and supervised by the Chief Palace Administrator of Oro Esara Kingdom, Eze Clinton Adams Ejekwu Weli. Our reporter gathered that Chief Palace Administrator is the highest administrative organ in Iwhuereoha traditional setting.

Bestowing the crown on High Chief Ebenezer Isuka at his Palace in Iriebe, Nyerisi Mbam IV of Oro Esara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze Monday Worenwu said he was performing one of the duties his ancestors assigned to him, stressing that the recipient merited the honour based on his father’s antecedents.

In a brief speech presented by His Majesty, which was read by the Chief Palace Administrator of Oro Esara Kingdom, Eze Clinton Adams Ejekwu Weli, Eze Monday Worenwu said the crowning of High Chief Ebenezer Isuka Woko was his first assignment of that kind under his reign as King and thanked the Chiefs, Elders and good people of Oro Esara Kingdom for their support.

The newly crowned Traditional Prime Minister of Oha Okoro, High Chief Isuka Woko, thanked His Majesty for finding him worthy to be bestowed with the prestigious title and promised to work for peace and progress of Oha Okoro, Rumuagholu and the entire Oro Esara Kingdom. He also thanked the Chief Palace Administrator of the Kingdom, Eze Clinton Adams Ejekwu Weli for his contributions in making the event a huge success.

From Iriebe, the event shifted to High Chief Isuka’s residence at Rumuagholu where reception was held and dignitaries, which included the entire traditional institution of Rumuagholu were entertained lavishly. At the reception ground, the Majesty of Oro Esara Kingdom handed the Prime Minister to the traditional council and Owhor-holders of Rumuagholu led by Elder Manyeodemoye and Vice Chairman of Rumuagholu Council of Chiefs.

Other dignitaries that received the Prime Minister were, the CDC Chairman, Comrade Okechukwu Amadi and his executives.

Traditional musicians and bands added pomp and pageantry  to the well organized event.
